Cheap Holidays to Croatia

Superb resorts, fantastic food, beautiful beaches – Croatia, a holiday destination that hit the British tourist radar, fashionably late.

Most tourists are mesmerised by the wonderful coastline. The Croatian seaside stretches out for 1,778 kilometres, and 1,185 islands float off the shores. The three biggest seaside resorts are Porec, Rovini and Dubrovnik, where white sand and soft pebble beaches are lined with cosy cafes and restaurants.

There is a sense of Italian charm throughout Croatia, including in its cuisine. Indeed you’ll find pizza and pasta along with homemade broths and breads which wash down nicely with some of the finest local wines. Being a Mediterranean location, there is the usual feast of the freshest fish on tap.

One Croatian must see is Dubrovnik. Old palaces, modern hotels and holiday apartments, adjacent to bars, cafes and boutiques in this historic town; Dubrovnik has many sights to delight.

Croatia is an enchanting island carpeted in lavender and aromatic herbs which surround the seaside resorts, the pretty villages, and the clean beaches. It’s a place to relax and bathe in one of the sunniest spots in Europe.

The relaxed and safe atmosphere of Croatia makes it a great family beach holiday location and popular for its peaceful swimming and sunbathing. However, its quiet secluded coves and beaches, sheltered by shady wooded hills, also attract naturists to the island.

However, the sunbathing scene is just the start of Croatia’s story. The country is an up and coming diving destination. There are ideal shallow waters for beginners, and deeper for the more experienced. There are coral reefs, caves and shipwrecks to explore.

The nightlife is pleasant but not rowdy. There are plenty of attractive promenades, friendly pavement cafes and charming taverns, serving the most excellent food.

Whether you want to relax and sunbathe, enjoying the wonderful scenery or explore the depths of the Adriatic Sea, Croatia is the place for you.
